  • 2 1/2 C. all purpose flour
  • 1/2 C. cocoa powder, unsweetened
  • 1 tsp. baking soda
  • 3/4 tsp. salt
  • 1/2 c. milk
  • 1/2 C. plain Greek yogurt
  • 2 sticks butter, unsalted
  • 1 1/2 C. sugar
  • 4 large eggs
  • 1 tsp. vanilla extract
  • 1/2 C. dark chocolate chips
  • 1 can chocolate frosting

Preheat your oven to 325 degrees. Whisk flour, cocoa, baking soda and salt in a large bowl. Mix milk and yogurt in small bowl. Set aside. Cream butter and sugar with a mixer on medium speed until light and fluffy. Beat in eggs, one at a time. Add vanilla. Mix on low speed and add flour and milk mixtures slowly. Fold in the chocolate chips. Pour batter on greased 6-inch mini cake pan tins. Bake for 30 to 35 minutes. Let the cakes cool in the pan on a wire rack. Spread chocolate frosting on each mini cake before serving.
