Try this gravy with freshly cooked turkey or chicken.

  • 2 Tbs. corn starch
  • ΒΌ C. cold water
  • 2 Tbs. fat drippings
  • 2 C. broth or bouillon
  • Desired seasonings.

In a small bowl, combine corn starch and water until smooth. Set aside. Remove all but 2 Tbs. of the fat drippings from roasting pan. Stir in broth or bouillon. Cook over medium heat, stirring to loosen the browned bits. Remove from heat. Stir the corn starch mixture into pan. Add seasonings. Stirring constantly, bring to a boil over medium heat and boil 1 minute.
