  • 1 Cup of Brown Rice
  • 2 Tablespoons and 2 Teaspoons of Sesame Oil
  • 1 Cup of Chopped Green Onion
  • 1 Minced Garlic Clove
  • 2 Diced Carrots
  • 2 Tablespoons of Low-Sodium Soy Sauce
  • 1 Cup of Peas
  • ½ Teaspoon of Red Pepper Flakes
  • 1 Pinch of Salt
  • 1 Pinch of Pepper

Begin by cooking your rice according to the package’s instructions. Then, heat up 2 tablespoons of sesame oil in a skillet over a medium heat and add in the, garlic, carrots, red pepper flakes, salt, and pepper. Stir this occasionally for about 5 minutes, and then add in the rice, green onions, soy sauce, and peas while you increase the heat to medium-high.

Fry this for about 2-3 minutes and then stir in the remaining sesame oil once you’ve removed it from the heat. Serve warm and enjoy!
