Place your watermelon on a sturdy surface, on a flatter side, if it has one. Place the capped vodka bottle atop the middle of the watermelon, with a sharp pick, trace the size of the vodka spout. Set the bottle aside and with a small, sharp knife, cut a hole about an inch or so deep and no wider than you traced. Uncap the vodka, and at a slight angle at first, slowly insert the bottle into the hole, making certain it will fit tightly, and then level the melon and push the bottle down, so that the neck is imbedded enough to stay upright on its own. The vodka should be slowly draining into the watermelon. This soaking process could take twenty minutes, or even several hours, depending on the density of your melon. Once the bottle is emptied, let the infused watermelon set for several hours before serving, for prime flavor. To serve you can slice normal slices, ball, or simply cut off the top and stick straws into the meat of the fruit. Enjoy!
