  • 3 C. flour
  • 1 package active yeast
  • ½ C. pumpkin puree
  • 2/3 C. + 1 T. milk
  • 2 T. sugar
  • 6 T. butter, divided
  • Dash salt
  • 1 large egg
  • ¾ C. brown sugar, divided
  • 2 tsp. cinnamon
  • ½ tsp. vanilla extract
  • 1/3 C. powdered sugar

In a large bowl, combine 1 ½ C. flour and active yeast packet. In a saucepan, combine milk, pumpkin puree, 2/3 cup of milk, 2 tablespoons of butter, and a dash of salt. Heat until butter is melted and stir well. Pour mixture into flour, add egg, and beat with an electric mixer until well combined. Mix in remaining flour and knead into a dough; cover and set aside for about an hour to rise. Roll dough out into a rectangle, brush with 2 tablespoons of melted butter, and sprinkle with a combination of ½ cup of brown sugar and cinnamon. Roll up, cut into 12 slices, place on a greased baking sheet, and bake for 25 minutes at 375 degrees. Prepare icing by heating 2 tablespoons of butter, brown sugar, and milk. Stir in vanilla, salt, and powdered sugar. Drizzle over hot rolls and serve!
