  • 1 (16.3-oz.) can refrigerated flaky biscuits
  • 2 medium tomatoes, sliced
  • 1 small can tomato sauce
  • 2 C. mozzarella cheese
  • 1/4 tsp. salt
  • 1/4 tsp. ground pepper
  • 1/4 C. fresh basil

Preheat oven at 400 degrees. Press biscuit circles on a lightly greased baking sheet. Bake for 5 to 6 minutes. Spread biscuits evenly with tomatoes. Pour over tomato sauce and mozzarella cheese. Sprinkle remaining ingredients. Bake for 5 to 10 minutes or until cheese melts.
