  • six cups of sliced apples,
  • two tablespoons of flour
  • one teaspoon of apple pie spice
  • one cup of sugar
  • one teaspoon of lemon juice
  • two tablespoons of butter

Preheat the oven to 375 degrees. Then, make a pastry for your pie. Try a pastry mix or use a frozen pastry from your local grocer's. If you use a frozen pastry, bring it out from the freezer and lay one of the pastries on a sheet of aluminum foil and place the other one face down on the aluminum foil. While they are defrosting, mix the ingredients into a bowl. Mix well and then pour into the bottom of a defrosted pie crust. Top with the other pie crust and then pinch the edges. Next, take a sharp knife and carefully slice several openings on top of the crust; making sure that you slice several small ones near the edge.


Bake for about 40 minutes or until juice from apples appear on the top. Let cool and then serve. You will have one tasty apple pie!
