If you don't have enough oven space at your holiday gathering, make your green bean casserole in a crockpot!

  • two 16-oz. pkg. frozen whole green beans, thawed
  • 3 ribs celery, diagonally sliced
  • 1 sweet red bell pepper, julienned
  • two 11-oz. cans sliced water chestnuts, drained
  • one 10-oz. can cream of chicken soup
  • 1/2 C. slivered almonds
  • one 3-oz. can french-fried onion rings

In a slow cooker sprayed with vegetable cooking spray, combine green beans, celery, bell pepper, water chestnuts, soup, and almonds.  Cover and cook on low for 2-4 hours. About 10 minute before serving, top with onion rings.
