  • 1 ½ pounds ground beef
  • 1 can drained and diced tomatoes with green peppers
  • 1 can drained black beans
  • 1 cup sour cream
  • ½ cup water
  • 1 package taco seasoning
  • 8 ounces shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1 package corn tortilla chips

Preheat the oven to 350 degrees F to begin. Cook the ground beef in a skillet over medium heat. Drain the fat and then add the diced tomatoes with peppers, beans, water, taco seasoning, and sour cream. Simmer for 8 minutes. Layer the bottom of a baking dish with tortilla chips. Top the layer of chips with the meat mixture. Add a layer of cheese. Repeat this pattern until the ingredients are entirely used, with a layer of cheese on the very top. Bake for 20 minutes and then serve.
