  • 21 oz. cherry pie filling
  • 1 C. flour
  • 1 1/2 tsp. baking powder
  • 1/4 C. butter, melted
  • 1/4 C. brown sugar
  • 1/2 C. milk
  • 1 C. slivered almonds, toasted
  • 1/2 tsp. almond extract
  • 1/4 tsp. salt

Spray your crockpot with a cooking spray. Pour the cherry pie filling into the crockpot. In a large bowl add all of the ingredients, except for the almonds. Mix this thoroughly and add almonds once the mixture is smooth. Pour the mixture evenly over the cherry pie filling. Let it cook for 2 hours. Serve with a side of vanilla ice cream.
