  • 8 slices of bread
  • 3 large eggs
  • 1 banana, thinly sliced
  • ½ cup of walnuts, chopped
  • ¼ cup of milk
  • ¼ cup of honey
  • 2 tablespoons of brown sugar
  • 1 tablespoon of butter
  • 1 teaspoon of vanilla
  • 1 teaspoon of cinnamon
  • ½ teaspoon of nutmeg

As a skillet warms over medium heat, whisk together the eggs, milk, sugar, vanilla, cinnamon, and nutmeg in a large bowl. Dip the bread slices into the egg mixture and place in the skillet with a tablespoon of butter. Fry on each side for 5 minutes, or until golden brown. Spread a tablespoon of honey onto each slice of French toast, then place the sliced banana on top. Sprinkle with walnuts and serve. Enjoy while warm!
