  • 1 pound extra-lean ground beef
  • 2 jalapeno peppers
  • 1 shallot, minced
  • 1 egg white
  • Salt and pepper
  • Gluten-free low sodium bread
  • toppings, as desired
  • 4 slices low-fat cheddar

Season the meat with salt and pepper. Mix it with the onions, jalapeno pepper and onions, and egg. Shape into burgers and grill on a low heat for 3 minutes on each side. For the final minute, place the cheese on top and allow to melt. Toast the bread slices on both sides. Butter as desired. Assemble the meat in the bread and allow to toast on the grill again. Serve with toppings, oven fries and coleslaw.
