In a small bowl, stir together the brown sugar and 2 tablespoons maple syrup. Lay the bacon strips on a baking sheet and drizzle the sugar-syrup mixture over the bacon. Bake the bacon for 20 minutes in the oven set to 350 degrees F. Chop the bacon when it is done. Roll out one biscuit at a time and sprinkle some bacon bits on top. Fold over the biscuit and then use your hands to shape it into a donut. Repeat with all the biscuits and be sure not to use all the bacon. Heat the oil to 325 degrees and fry the donuts in batches for 3 minutes per side. Drain the donuts on a paper towel. In another bowl, whisk the powdered sugar, milk, and maple syrup. This will serve as the glaze. Drizzle the donuts with the glaze and then top with remaining bacon bits.
