  • 8 thick slices white bread
  • 3 T. butter
  • 3 eggs
  • 1/3 C. milk
  • 1 tsp. vanilla extract
  • 1 tsp. cinnamon
  • ΒΌ C. sugar
  • Dash salt
  • Maple syrup to serve

Cut each slice of bread into 4 sticks. In a bowl, whisk together eggs, milk, vanilla, and salt. In a separate bowl, combine sugar and cinnamon. Melt butter in a skillet, dip each stick into egg mixture, and roll in cinnamon sugar. Cook over medium heat until both sides are golden brown and serve with hot syrup.
