  • 2 lb. beef chuck roast, boneless
  • 3 cans cream of mushroom soup
  • 1 C. water
  • 1/2 C. beef broth
  • 2 onions, chopped
  • 2 tsp. olive oil
  • Hamburger buns
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Season roast with salt and pepper. Empty cans of soup in crockpot and add water. Mix well. Heat olive oil on large skillet over medium heat and then place roast in skillet. Brown on all sides. Remove from skillet and set on plate. Brown onions in skillet. Add beef broth and pour drippings from skillet into slow cooker with onions. Place roast on top. Cover and cook on low for 8 to 10 hours. When done, place pot roast in sandwiches before serving.
