With an eggnog icing, this milk chocolate bundt cake is filled with holiday spirit. You can even sprinkle crushed candy canes on the icing if you want a minty flavor.

  • 1 (16-oz.) pkg. pound cake mix
  • 1 milk chocolate candy bar
  • 1/2 C. butter, melted
  • 3 eggs
  • 1 1/2 C. cream cheese, softened
  • 2 C. powdered sugar
  • 1/2 tsp. vanilla
  • Eggnog icing:
  • 1/4 C. all-purpose flour
  • 1 C. sugar
  • 1 C. eggnog
  • 1/4 tsp. nutmeg
  • 1 C. hard shortening
  • Dash of salt

Prepare your oven at 350 degrees. Melt chocolate candy bar in microwave. In a large bowl, combine cake mix, butter and eggs. Beat with electric mixer until smooth. Spread in prepared pan. In another bowl, beat cream cheese, powdered sugar, vanilla and melted chocolate until smooth. Mix with first batter. Pour batter in greased bundt pan. Bake for 35-40 minutes. 

For eggnog icing, stir flour and sugar in saucepan. Add in eggnog, nutmeg and hard shortening. Heat over medium heat while beating until thick. Remove from stove and cool for 10 minutes. Beat with butter until creamy. Spread on bundt cake.
