Here is an easy to follow recipe for some pretty great bubble tea. There are many different flavors of bubble tea but this one is a fan favorite. It is made with a mixture of milk, strong black tea, and sugar that is poured on top of chewy tapioca.

Ingredients

  • 1 tsp plus 4 tsp White Sugar, divided
  • 1/3 C Cooked Giant Black Tapioca
  • 1 C Strong Black Tea, brewed & cooled to room temperature
  • 2 tbs Milk
  • 1 C Ice Cubes

Directions

Pour two cups of water into a small saucepan and bring to a boil over medium heat. Once hot, stir in one teaspoon of sugar until dissolved completely. Add the tapioca and let cook for about 15 to 20 minutes while stirring frequently. Rinse, drain and refrigerate your tapioca until it is fully chilled.

In the meantime, pour the tea, milk, and four teaspoons of sugar into a medium bowl. Whisk the mixture until the sugar is completely dissolved and the milk is well combined. Add the ice cubes to the mixture and mix until chilled.

Spoon your tapioca into a glass and pour the tea and milk mixture on top. Serve cold and enjoy!
