These bite-sized calzones may be small but they are packed with great flavor. Stuffed with cheese and ham, these pizza-like appetizers will be great for any occasion!

  • 1 jar of red tomato sauce
  • ½ cups shredded parmesan cheese
  • 1/2 cup ricotta cheese
  • 2 tubes refrigerated pizza crust
  • 1 ounce sliced ham

First grease a baking sheet and unroll the pizza crust onto the baking sheet. Form about 4 inch circles with the pizza crust. Then sprinkle the ricotta cheese on half of each circle of dough, leaving room at the edges. Also spread the ham and parmesan cheese on half of each circle. Fold the dough over the filling and press in the edges firmly to seal the mini calzones. Bake at 400 degrees for 15-20 minutes or until the calzones are golden. Warm the tomato sauce and serve as dipping sauce.
