  • 8 oz of chocolate (bittersweet)
  • 8 oz of chocolate (semisweet)
  • 14 oz of sweet condensed milk
  • Food coloring (green)
  • 8 oz of melted milk chocolate
  • 4 drops of mint extract
  • Decorator's sugar

Using a double bolier, heat the condensed milk together with semisweet and bittersweet chocolates until the chocolate melts and the mixture is smooth. Ensure that no water touches the chocolates. Mix the mint extract. Cover the mixture with oilpaper and refrigerate for two hours. Remove the mixture and shape them to form small balls. For the outer layer, pick each ball with a fork and dip into the melted milk chocolate. Mix food coloring with decorator's sugar and sprinkle it on the truffles.
