  • 1 ½ pounds ground beef
  • 2 cans sliced mushrooms
  • 4 slices Swiss cheese
  • ½ teaspoon seasoned meat tenderizer
  • 6 hamburger buns
  • 2 tablespoons soy sauce
  • 2 teaspoons butter
  • Salt and pepper

Separate the ground beef into 6 patties and season the beef with meat tenderizer and salt and pepper. Oil the grill grates lightly. Melt the butter over medium heat and cook the mushrooms in soy sauce until the mushrooms are browned. Then grill the patties for 6 minutes on each side over medium heat. Add the mushroom mixture and a slice of cheese to each of the patties still on the grill. Cover the grill and cook for 1 more minute. Remove the burgers and put them on the hamburger buns to serve.
