Prosciutto is an Italian cured meat that will add a bit of saltiness to the roasted asparagus. This is great on top of salads, rice or with a side of meat.

  • 3 pounds of asparagus, trimmed
  • ½ pound of prosciutto
  • ½ cup of parmesan cheese, shredded
  • 4 tablespoons of olive oil
  • Salt and pepper, to taste

As the oven preheats to 400 degrees, begin to wrap a large handful of asparagus in 2 to 3 pieces of prosciutto. Once all of the asparagus has been wrapped, season with salt and pepper. Finally, drizzle with olive oil and top with the Parmesan cheese. Then let roast for 15 minutes, or until the asparagus is tender and the prosciutto has a slightly crispy edge. Serve and enjoy!
