Scaloppini is a dish that looks and sounds fancy, and certainly like a lot of effort, but it’s actually pretty easy to make! Follow this recipe for a creamy pork delicacy in just 45 minutes.

  • 4 pieces of boneless pork chops, pounded to ¼ inch thickness
  • 1 package of sliced baby portabella mushrooms
  • 1 lemon, thinly sliced
  • ½ cup of white wine
  • 1 cup of chicken broth
  • ¼ cup of flour
  • 2 tablespoons of lemon juice
  • 2 tablespoons of olive oil
  • 3 tablespoons of butter
  • 1 handful of fresh parsley, chopped
  • salt and pepper

In a bowl, mix flour and salt and pepper together, then coat each pork chop in the mixture.
In a pan, heat olive oil over medium-high heat. Cook the flour- coated pork chops for about 5 minutes on each side. Set aside.
In the same pan, melt butter and sauté the mushrooms for 5 minutes. Add white wine, chicken broth, lemon juice and salt and pepper and simmer for 10 minutes. Once the mixture has slightly thickened, place the pork chops into back into the pan. Top with lemon slices and parsley, then cook covered on low-medium heat for another 10 minutes.
