This is your basic Italian pasta recipe.

  • salt
  • 1 lb. spaghetti
  • 2 Tbs. olive oil
  • 1 Tbs. ground black pepper
  • 1 C. grated romano cheese

Bring 4 qts. water to a boil in a large pot. Add 2 Tbs. salt, then the pasta. Make sure the pasta is completely covered by water. Stir well. Cook over high heat, stirring frequently,, until pasta is al dente. Drain the pasta. In a large serving bowl, toss pasta with the oil, pepper and half the cheese until the cheese is melted. Toss pasta again with the rest of the cheese. Serve.
