Start your day with a healthy breakfast by making this easy quinoa cereal.

  • 1 C. quinoa, rinsed and drained
  • 2 C. water
  • 1/2 tsp. cinnamon
  • 1/2 tsp. vanilla extract
  • 1 ripe banana, peeled and diced
  • 1/2 C. dried berry blend
  • 1/4 C. slivered almonds

Add quinoa, water, banana, cinnamon, and vanilla to a saucepan, bring to a simmer, and cook for about 15 minutes, or until water is absorbed.  Mix in nuts and berries, then top with milk, honey, sugar, or maple syrup if you'd like.
