  • 2 lb. green beans
  • 1 bay leaf
  • 1/3 C. almonds, sliced
  • 3 Tbs. butter
  • 1 tsp. lemon zest
  • 1 Tbs. rosemary leaves, minced

Place beans and bay leaf in saucepan of boiling water. Cook for about 7 to 8 minutes. Drain and remove bay leaf. Place almonds in hot skillet over medium heat and stir until toasted. Add butter, zest and rosemary to saucepan and stir until butter is melted. Season with salt and pepper.
