Salisbury Steak Casserole

All you need to make a great Salisbury steak is several kinds of soup mix and ground beef.

  • 2 lb. Ground beef
  • 1/2 pkg. Lipton onion soup mix
  • 1 can Cream of mushroom soup
  • 1 can French onion soup
  • 1 can Cream of celery soup

Pat meat into bottom of casserole until bottom is completely covered and top is even. Pour all cans of soup over meat. Sprinkle onion soup mix over top of soups. Bake at 350 degrees for 30 minutes.

  • Is the ground beef cooked when patting into pan or is it raw? Wouldn't this be greasy if burger is raw? Can just picture grease floating on top, but otherwise, sounds good.

  • Way to salty either the lipton soup mix or the French Onion has to either be dulted or elimated to help cut back on the salty taste and if you are on a low salt diet the orig.recipe will blow your socks off.Iris Lady

  • I tried this the other night, for a quick, simple supper. It was great. I was really surprised, and the family loved it too. Will make again one day.
