Salmon is one of the most versatile fishes. It can be baked, fried, and grilled but all the flavors will remain no matter what. This salmon teriyaki recipe uses Asian spices to pack large amounts of taste into a nice fresh piece of salmon.

  • 2 salmon fillets
  • 1 cup soy sauce
  • 1 cup rice wine vinegar
  • 1/3 cup sugar
  • 2 cup rice
  • 1 tsp. salt
  • 1 tsp. pepper
  • Water

Preheat oven to 400 degrees
Place a pan over high heat
Combine soy sauce, rice wine, and sugar in the pan, and bring ingredients to a boil
Cook for about 15 minutes and set aside when done
Bring water to a boil in a pot
Pour in rice and cook for about 15 minutes or until done
Glaze salmon with teriyaki sauce and sprinkle with salt and pepper
Place in oven and cook for about 4 minutes
Serve over a bed of rice
