  • 2 lbs. chicken wings
  • 1 Tbs. butter
  • 1 Tbs. garlic, minced
  • 1 Tbs. onion, minced
  • 1/2 C. bourbon whiskey
  • 3/4 C. maple syrup
  • 2 Tbs. tomato paste
  • 1 Tbs. hot sauce
  • 1 tsp. dried rosemary
  • 1/4 tsp. salt
  • 1/4 tsp black pepper

Heat butter in a medium saucepan over medium heat until melted. Add onion and garlic and cook for 2 minutes. Mix in bourbon whiskey, maple syrup, tomato paste, hot sauce, rosemary, salt and pepper. Whisk together and simmer.

Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Line a baking pan with Place wings in a bowl toss with half of the bourbon sauce until well coated. Leave sauce simmering on lowest setting on the stove. Roast for 35 minutes, turning wings over halfway. Wings should be slightly browned.

Remove wings from oven and toss with remaining sauce. Serve.
