  • 1 lb. elbow macaroni
  • 4 T. butter
  • 1/3 C. flour
  • 4 C. milk
  • 1 tsp. dry powdered mustard
  • 2 C. shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1/2 T. salt
  • 2 C. beef brisket, cooked, shredded
  • 1/4 C. honey barbecue sauce
  • 2/3 C. crumbled blue cheese

Prepare and drain pasta according to package directions. Meanwhile, melt butter in a medium saucepan over medium heat. Whisk in flour, cooking until smooth. Stir in milk and mustard. Whisk occasionally until combined and heated through. Reduce heat, add cheddar, and stir until smooth. Season as needed with salt. Combine sauce with pasta and transfer to a casserole dish. Spread the brisket on top of the mac and cheese. Top with blue cheese. Set broiler to a high heat setting. Broil mac and cheese for 5-10 minutes, until bubbly. Serve immediately.
