This slow cooker meatball sandwich will be a great dinner any day of the week. With the home cooked meatballs and tasty marinara sauce this sandwich will become a fast favorite.

  • Meatballs:
  • 1 lb. hamburger meat
  • 1 egg
  • 1 tbsp basil, finely chopped
  • 1 pkg. saltine crackers
  • 1 pkg. onion soup mix
  • 1 clove garlic
  • 1 jar of store bought tomato or marina sauce
  • Sandwich:
  • 1/2 C. Parmesan cheese
  • 3-5 french baguettes

Beat egg and add to hamburger then mix in all other ingredients. Mix well so you get the flavor in all the meat. Roll the mixture into meatballs and place in the crock pot. Add then pour the marinara on top of the meatballs. Cook on low in your crock pot for about 6-8 hours.  To make the sandwich, start by toasting white baguette.  Then place 3-4 meatballs in the baguette.  Add as much marinara sauce from the crock pot as desired.  Sprinkle with Parmesan cheese and enjoy.
