  • 1 cup of smoked salmon, sliced
  • 1 cup of brown rice, cooked
  • ½ cup of cremini mushrooms, sliced
  • 1 large potato
  • 1 egg
  • 1 tablespoon of oil
  • ¼ teaspoon of onion powder
  • ¼ teaspoon of smoked paprika
  • Salt and pepper, to taste
  • Fresh parsley, to garnish

Begin by heating an oiled skillet over medium heat, then add potatoes, mushrooms, onion powder, paprika, salt, and pepper. As the potatoes fry for 15 minutes, bring 2 cups of water and egg to a boil in a pot over medium heat. Reduce the heat, cover and let cook for 10 minutes. To construct the breakfast bowl, start with a layer of cooked brown rice then top with the potatoes, onion, salmon, and egg. Garnish with fresh parsley and enjoy.
