  • 1 chicken, cut up into pieces
  • 2 Tbs. recaito, cilantro cooking base
  • 2 Tbs. sofrito, tomato cooking base
  • 2 Tbs. Spanish style green olives
  • 1 (8-oz.) can tomato sauce
  • 4 cloves garlic, crushed
  • 1 green Pepper, diced
  • 1 small onion, diced
  • 2 small potatoes, cubed
  • 2 C. water
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Place all ingredients into a large saucepan and cook until the chicken and potatoes are cooked and the sauce has thickened into a saucy broth. If you desire, serve over hot cooked white rice.
