  • 1 pound of cod fillets
  • 1 egg, whisked
  • ½ cup of flour
  • ½ teaspoon paprika
  • ½ teaspoon cayenne
  • ½ teaspoon garlic powder
  • ½ teaspoon onion powder
  • ½ teaspoon dried thyme
  • Salt and pepper, to taste

Fill a large skillet with at least an inch of frying oil and heat over medium heat. In the meantime, mix together the flour, paprika, cayenne, garlic powder, onion, thyme, salt, and pepper. Coat the cod fillets in the egg wash and coat with the seasoning mix. Add the fillets to the heated skillet and let cook for at least 4 minutes on each side, or until golden brown. Serve and enjoy!
