  • Salmon burgers (or 1-pound fillet with skin removed)
  • 1 tablespoon of lemon juice
  • 2 teaspoons of whole grain mustard
  • 3 tablespoons of mayonnaise
  • 1 tablespoon of Dijon mustard
  • 1 tablespoon of pickle juice
  • 1 tablespoon of Worcestershire sauce
  • ¼ teaspoon of black pepper
  • 1 red onion sliced
  • Whole wheat hamburger buns
  • ½ tablespoon of vegetable oil.

Mix the lemon juice, whole grain mustard, and mayonnaise into a small bowl. For the salmon burgers, remove any skin or bones if needed. Cut the burger into small chunks and put into bowl with the Worcestershire sauce, pickle juice, Dijon mustard, and black pepper. Then mix with hands until combined. Mold salmon into a patty like shape and place on plate. In a pan, place salmon patties and cook until golden (this should take about 8 minutes). Once the patties are done, place burger, mayonnaise spread, and the onions on the bun to finish your meal!
