If you’re a fish lover, these tuna burgers are an amazing alternative to the red meat. The hot sauce adds a little bit of heat that will be cooled down from the mayonnaise.

  • 1 can of tuna, drained and chopped
  • 4 hamburger buns, split and toasted
  • 4 lettuce leaves
  • 4 slices of tomato
  • 1 egg, beaten
  • ½ cup panko breading
  • ¼ cup of onion, chopped
  • ¼ cup of mayonnaise
  • 3 tablespoons of hot sauce
  • Salt and pepper, to taste

Heat a greased skillet over medium heat. In the meantime, mix together tuna, egg, panko breading, onion mayonnaise, hot sauce, salt and pepper in a large bowl. Then shape the tuna into a patty shape, add to the skillet and cook for 5 minutes on each side. To create the burger, add lettuce, tomato, and tuna patty onto bun. Add condiments of your choosing and enjoy!
