Steamed Clams and Shrimp

This is a quick and easy recipe for your summer barbecue. Quick and very tasty.

  • 3 lb. clams
  • 1/2 - 1 lb. shrimp
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1/4 C. butter, cubed
  • Foil to wrap around Clams and Shrimp

Prep: Preheat barbecue to medium heat. Take 2 long pieces of foil, lay them on top of each other. Long enough to wrap around the clams and shrimp. Use 1/2 of your cubed butter, lay on top of foil, add shrimp and clams. Add minced garlic on top. Then add the rest of your butter, a pinch of salt and two pinches of pepper. Wrap up sides over clams and shrimp. Turning edges over twice to create a bag around clams and shrimp. Place on barbecue, rotate over twice every ten minutes. It takes 20 minutes.
