Cut the pork steak on the fat lines and trim the fat. Salt and pepper the pork. Brown the pork steak pieces in hot oil in a skillet. Drain off all oil and fat and return pork steak pieces to skillet. Cover pork steak pieces with stewed tomatoes. Bring to boil; reduce to simmer and simmer for at least 45 minutes. The longer this cooks, the better it is as the flavors blend. It is good served over mash potatoes or rice.
