Bring on the sunshine with freshly baked pastries and fruit jam. With just two ingredients, these jam-filled pastry sticks make the perfect snacks for spring potlucks and summer picnics.

  • 1 sheet of puff pastry dough (8 oz. package)
  • ΒΌ cup of strawberry jam
  • egg wash (1 egg and 2 tablespoons of water beaten together)

Preheat oven to 400 degrees Fahrenheit.
Cut the pastry sheet into 20 equal rectangular strips. Put a little bit of jam in the middle of a pastry strip, brush the edges with egg wash, then place another pastry strip on top; push down on the edges to make sure they stick together. Repeat for the rest.
Place the 10 pieces of jam-filled dough on a baking tray lined with parchment paper. Make 4 small cuts on each piece and lightly brush over the tops with egg wash. Bake for 15 minutes.
Cool completely and serve with a side of extra jam and fresh strawberries!
