  • 1 sheet of puff pastry
  • 1 large egg, beaten
  • 1/4 C. strawberry jam

Preheat oven to 375ºF.

In a small bowl fill with water. Cut puff pastry into 4 equal squares and place on lined baking sheet with parchment paper. Brush the edges of puff pastry square with water, then add a table spoon of jam on the bottom half of the square. Fold top over the bottom and press edges closed. Repeat these steps for the rest of the squares.

Brush the top of each triangle with beaten egg, then place baking pan in the oven. Bake for 15-17 minutes or until pastry until golden brown. Let cool slightly before serving.
