  • 2 C. crabmeat
  • 1 egg
  • 1/2 C. milk
  • 2 Tbs. lemon juices
  • 2 Tbs. chili sauce
  • 2 tsp. Worcestershire sauce
  • 1/2 tsp. paprika
  • 1/2 tsp. dry mustard
  • Dash nutmeg
  • 3/4 - 1 C. chopped celery
  • 2 Tbs. chopped green pepper
  • 2 Tbs. chopped onion
  • 1 tsp. chopped parsley
  • Cracker meal

Preheat oven to 325. Chop all vegetables fine and sauté in olive or canola oil till tender. Add 1/4 C. water while veggies sauté. Put crabmeat in bowl and add sauces, lemon juice, paprika, nutmeg, mustard, milk and egg. Mix well. Add sautéed veggies, mix again, and then add enough cracker meal to absorb extra liquid so it holds together. Fill well cleaned crab shells. Place in baking or roasting pan with about 1/8 to 1/4 C. water in bottom of pan (to steam and prevent burning). Bake at 325 for 45 minutes.
