  • 3 green peppers, diced
  • 1 carton beef-flavored broth
  • 2 lb. ground beef
  • 1 C. cooked rice
  • 1 sm. onion
  • 1 tsp. salt
  • 1/8 tsp. black pepper
  • 1/8 tsp. basil
  • 1 C. shredded cheese

Place ground beef on a large skillet over medium heat. Cook for 5 to 7 minutes until cooked. Stir occasionally. Pour all ingredients except rice and cheese in the crockpot. Cook on low for 7 hours. For last 30 minutes of the 7 hours, add rice. Top with shredded cheese when ready.
