  • 3 cups of flour
  • 2 cups of sugar
  • 10-15 medium strawberries, cut into bite sized pieces
  • 1 can of whipped cream (6-8 oz.)
  • 4 eggs, beaten
  • 1 cup of milk
  • 1 cup of butter, softened
  • 1 tablespoon of vanilla extract
  • 1 tablespoon of baking powder
  • strawberry syrup

Preheat the oven to 350 degrees Fahrenheit.
In a large bowl, combine flour, sugar, eggs, milk, butter, vanilla extract and baking powder. Mix well until the batter is completely smooth.
Pour the batter into a greased, large cake pan. Bake for 40-50 minutes until you can insert a toothpick and have it come out clean.
Let cool for 10 minutes, then poke tiny holes all over the cake with a fork.
Right before serving, drizzle the cake in strawberry syrup.
Slice and serve each piece with whipped cream topped with strawberry slices drizzled with more strawberry syrup.
