Fruit cobbler is always a delicious dessert, and it’s even better made and served with fresh berries. You can add a side of cool ice cream in the summertime for special occasions!

  • 2 cups of blueberries
  • 2 cups of raspberries
  • ¾ cup of sugar
  • 2 tablespoons of lemon juice
  • 2 tablespoons of cornstarch
  • 1 ¼ cups of flour
  • 1 stick of butter, melted
  • 1 cup of milk
  • vanilla ice cream

Preheat oven to 375 degrees Fahrenheit.
In a large bowl, combine blueberries, raspberries, lemon juice, cornstarch and sugar. Set aside and let sit for 10 minutes.
In a large bowl, combine flour, butter and milk. Pour this batter into a greased baking dish. Then gently pour the berry mixture over the batter. Bake in the oven for 45 minutes until the dough rises on top of the berries.
Serve warm or chilled with a side of leftover fresh berries vanilla ice cream. Enjoy!
