  • 2 pounds ground beef
  • ½ cup barbecue sauce
  • 8 slices bacon
  • 1 can sliced pineapple
  • 4 slices tomato
  • 4 slices cheese
  • Lettuce
  • 4 hamburger buns
  • Salt and pepper

Mix the ground beef with the barbecue sauce and season the mix with salt and pepper. Shape the burgers into 4 patties and place a pineapple slice on each one. Wrap two pieces of bacon around each patty and hold the bacon and pineapple in place with toothpicks. Brush the grill grates with oil and put the burgers over medium-low heat. Cover the grill and cook the meat until it is as rare or done as you prefer. To ensure the bacon does not burn, flip the burgers frequently. Assemble the burgers on the buns with lettuce, a slice of tomato and a slice of cheese.
