These turkey burger sliders are a great twist on an American classic. The crunchy pickle and red onion topping on these sliders is sure to make them a huge hit.

  • 4 small hard rolls
  • 1 lb. (93 percent lean) ground turkey
  • 1/2 small red onion, coarsely chopped
  • 10 small pickles, sliced
  • 5 leaves fresh basil, finely chopped
  • 2 leaves of lettuce, finely chopped
  • 1 tsp. olive oil
  • 1/4 C. mayonnaise

Form twelve 2-inch patties out of ground turkey (about 3 tablespoons each).
In a large nonstick skillet, heat oil over medium heat. Cook patties until browned and cooked through, about 5 minutes per side.
Separately chop lettuce, basil, and red onions finely.
First place the finely chopped lettuce on the bottom bun. Then place the burger patty, pickles, and basil. Top with one tablespoon mayonnaise and place top bun on top.
