Hot dogs with a twist -- quite literally! Wrapped in golden strips of pastry puffs, these dogs are a new spin on a favorite campfire meal.

  • 1 Pack of Hot Dogs
  • 1 Pastry Puff Sheet
  • 1 Egg
  • ¼ Cup of Water

Begin by unfolding the pastry puff sheet over a surface covered in flour. Then, cut as many equally-sized strips of the sheet as you have hot dogs (probably around ½ an inch thick). Wrap these strips around each hot dog.

Whisk the egg together with the water and then brush it across the tops of each wrapped hot dog. Wrap them up in tinfoil and cook them over your campfire for 10-15 minutes until the pastry puff is golden brown.

To make them easier to eat, you can stick a skewer through the center of each hot dog!
