Nothing says summer like a day by the pool and nothing beats the heat like a margarita. Make these Whole Fruit Margaritas as a refreshing drink by the pool or beach. Made with your favorite tequila and any kind of fruit, this delicious drink can be made to suit anyone's taste buds.

Serving Size / Yield

1 serving


  • 6 oz. tequila
  • 2 oz. grand mariner
  • 1 whole orange, peeled, halved, and seeded
  • 1 whole lemon, peeled, halved, and seeded
  • 1 whole lime, peeled, halved, and seeded
  • 6 C. ice cubes
  • 1/2 C. water

Mix the tequila, water, ice and Grand Mariner
Peel, halve, and seed all the fruit
Be careful to remove all seeds! (They are not only a choke hazard, but once ground can become sharp and cause cuts in the mouth and throat- So be careful!)
Place everything in a large blender and mix
Move gradually from slow speeds to the quickest to keep the drink from becoming chunky or getting clogged in the blades
This recipe works well with any of your favorite fruits: peaches, pineapple, kiwi and mangoes all provide excellent flavor
Keep the measurements at three cups fruit to three cups ice to preserve consistency
